We are in a period of extreme structural instability, globally. Migration and demographic shifts, Geopolitical instability, DeepTech integration, Economic inequality and general volatility and unpredictability in business environment dominate the macro-environment. These problems seek resolution, if not managing at multiple levels.

From clarity of purpose and function, appreciating the individual relationships and engagements, analysing patterns, managing agency and governance, navigating the evolving complex environments and in building up the mindset and capability to innovate and transform require robust frameworks and paradigms. The Digital Maturity and Digital Business Transformation journey for organizations needs to reflect the evolving dynamic. Individual capabilities and agency must go beyond hard and soft skills to epistemological and ontological alignment with the environment

These challenges can be categorised as Systemic, navigating complexity and the unseens and unknowns. This requires a new sort of readiness and capability. One that deals with a multitude of issues, not easily discernible. The A3 model builds on ancient philosophies and its consilience with contemporary transformation objectives. It takes a Systems approach built on the ancient Pati - Pasu - Pasam first principle. The whole, individual agency, fitness and capability as well as identity and alignment and engage with the environment. By acknowledging the three as part of a whole system continuum, the A3 model provides a breakdown to audit and analyse systems performance, capability and complexity challenges.

The human mind and capacity must engage from a position of authority, even when faced with the most volatile and unpredictable outlook. That is the only way we can navigate the future will confidence.
